The event was held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the historic DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center for the Juneteenth Deep Dive: The Power of Community Ownership in Commercial Real Estate.

Hosted by the Diverse Developers Conference in collaboration with Community Desk Chicago, Chicago Community Loan Fund, and the DuSable Museum & Education Center, this convening brought together a dynamic mix of developers, community leaders, policymakers, funders, and impact investors. Together, they explore actionable strategies, transferable models, and collaborative pathways to capital that support community-led commercial real estate development.
