Lana Crouse
Regional Director,
U.S. Green Building Council
Lana Crouse serves as a Regional Director for the U.S. Market Transformation & Development team for the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). As Regional Director she leads efforts to advance sustainability, health, resilience, and equity in buildings and communities across the East North Central region (Indiana, Illinois, Michigan & Ohio).
Lana oversees market development, strategic planning, education outreach, and event management. She also leads the implementation of strategies and guides a regional and volunteer team focused on shaping local engagement, delivering impactful programming, and fostering strategic partnerships that accelerate green building adoption throughout the Midwest.
With more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience, Lana brings deep expertise in business development, event management, sales operations, client relations, human resources, and volunteer engagement. Her passion for sustainability and community building drives her work to expand USGBC’s mission of transforming the built environment into one that supports people and the planet.
Lana earned her degree from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN and holds a Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
