Phillip’s tenure at Community Investment Corporation spans seven years, progressing from Senior Lender to Director of Credit Administration before assuming his current role as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Lending. Phillip serves as a key member of CIC's leadership team and oversees the commercial lending where he drives business development, loan production, and construction services to meet CIC’s financial and community objectives. 

Prior to joining CIC, Phillip held positions at Morgan Stanley, Seaway National Bank, Bank Financial, Urban Partnership Bank, and Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC), fostering a deep commitment to affordable housing and collaboration with local developers over 23 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, a master’s in business administration (M.B.A) from Purdue University and is a licensed Illinois Real Estate professional.
