Tania Kadakia

Tania Kadakia is founder of Wrought Iron Partners (WIP), a Chicago based real estate consulting and development firm specializing in affordable housing and community initiatives nationwide.  Tania founded WIP to bring her expertise in project development, complex finance and organizational capacity building to community development focused real estate developers, foundations and municipalities.  WIP is mission and impact-driven, prioritizing positive social and economic outcomes as integral to projects.  WIP clients include developers, cities and agencies with a wide range of experience and needs.  A highlight is WIP's consulting work for the LISC and IHDA NextGen program, for which Tania developed content and is the lead instructor.  

Tania's past experience includes originations and relationship management for major equity providers and banks including BMO Harris, National Equity Fund and Enterprise Community Investments.  Tania has played key real estate development roles leading large and complex deals and teams, most recently including founding a housing team for a Chicago based commercial developer.  

Tania is a sought after speaker and serves on numerous boards, including a current Mayoral appointment to Chicago Plan Commission.
