Vernon Beckford is the Co-Founder of The Diversified Companies, an impact-driven investment and advisory firm expanding access to capital for small, diverse, and emerging real estate entrepreneurs.

Their non-profit affiliate, Diversified Community Impact, assists CDFIs, non-profits, and foundations in the development and execution of funding programs to address key market gaps for the emerging developer ecosystem. 

The firm also co-owns over 1,100 multifamily units (primarily NOAH) in Texas and Tennessee, and 200+ extended stay/short-term units in Georgia, South Carolina, and New York in partnership with diverse, mission-aligned operators. 

Since starting his career at Credit Suisse on Wall Street 20 years ago, Mr. Beckford has served stints at investment firms CWCapital and Global Atlantic (now KKR owned) and graduated from Columbia University and Harvard Business School.
